Overview

Qualcomm's PureVoice® products offer a range of superior voice and audio enhancement software for CDMA products. Optimized for Qualcomm's Mobile Station Modem (MSM™) device platforms, the PureVoice product suite consists of voice recording technology, voice recognition software and audio automatic gain control.

PureVoice Voice Recording technology provides landline-quality voice transmission that operates at variable encoding rates in order to take advantage of natural pauses in human speech. The high-quality, high-compression solution is useful for store-and-forward as well as streaming applications, and the technology accommodates erasures (dropped data), resulting in better performance on real-time applications.

PureVoice Audio Automatic Gain Control (AGC) provides the highest quality stereo enhancement software available for Qualcomm's MSM platforms, enabling CDMA handset manufacturers a simple "drop-in" solution for enhancing the sound quality and usability of their phones. PureVoice AGC is most effective in adverse noise conditions where background noise would otherwise prevent intelligible phone conversations.

You can download the player-recorder from the sites listed below. The file includes both the PureVoice® Player-Recorder plug-in for Eudora® software, and the PureVoice Player-Recorder software for all e-mail applications.
